While we mostly conduct in-home services for our town, we do offer services to other towns near by such as College Place, Dixie, Waitsburg, Dayton, Milton-Freewater (OR) and more. What are the business hours?

We take in-person clients from Sunday through Friday, 10:00 am - 6:00 pm.

That said, we are open for communication every day of the week from 8:00 am- 8:00 pm!

FAQ image

Why do you come to our home for training sessions?

We travel to your location because the majority of your training concerns happen when you are at home.

Training happens much quicker in an environment that has minimal distractions and that your pup can be comfortable in. This is also how we work on building training into every day situations by starting in a place they can be the most successful first.

FAQ image

Are you the right trainer for me?

We sure hope so, but it really depends on your needs and the relationship you wish to have from your dog.

If you are looking for long-term behavioral change and want to work on communicating more effectively to your dog, understanding the reasoning behind their choices, how to get them out of 'over-reactive' states and truly speak to your dog via the most recent, empirical fear-free science behind canine behavior, then we could be a great match!

If you are looking for behavioral suppression, dominance tactics or 'alpha' training, then I am afraid we won't be a good fit for you.

Why is StayWildDog Training different from the rest?

We focus on creating custom plans for your unique situation, and through this custom plan we build the relationship that you are seeking for your dog while addressing your problem concerns.

While we have been professionally training for 8 years, there are about 20 years in the animal industry behind it, with multiple certifications, schooling and skill-assessments that we have gone through (and continue to go through) in order to be the best trainer we can be for you and your dogs.

We don't use outdated or abusive tactics, and every approach we have is fear-free.
