Conducted at home

We will arrive at your home to work on the skills lined out in your training plan. We start off here because this is the place you will spend the majority of your time, so it is easier for you to be successful here first before we go to locations.

A little bit at a time

We know you have tons of questions and want to get as much done as possible as quick as possible, but we promise that if you follow the process and really absorb the training, you will find much better results.

What do I need to have to be prepared?

Please have plenty of treats, a treat pouch, a standard lead, a harness/flat collar and if going to location, potty bags!

What do we work on?

Anything that was needed in your consultation will be worked on in these sessions.

If we feel your pup has a stable foundation in home, we can then build criteria in new locations.

What do I do with my dog when you arrive?

We would like your pup to be behind a barrier, or on a lead for our initial arrival. We will let you know when you can take the leash off, or when we need to remove the pup due to heightened arousal. 

Additionally, please place other animals away for the training session and set up an environment to be as minimally distracting as possible.

What if my dog has special needs?

We do our best to make sure every pup we work with is happy and healthy, so please let us know if your dog has any particular needs, dietary, medical and we will have a system set up to make training as effective as possible for your needs.
